I can't overstate how critical it is for go-to-market strategies to include a "lingua franca" (a common language).Whether you're a tech company, an agency, or a brand, what you are taking to market are CONCEPTS. Concepts will form the basis of ALL your conversations with team members, stakeholders, customers, and partners. All the mindshare and momentum you can hope to build will derive from nurturing and communicating these concepts.So without a lingua franca, your go-to-market strategy WILL get bogged down.Things that aren't understood can't be:- easily sold- easily bought- easily operatedTranslation: lack of a lingua franca costs money (in some cases billions of dollars) by pushing growth, revenue, and ROI further into the future than it needs to be.
